Meet your hosts

A family-run stay in a Belgian country house, surrounded by forests and farmland - wake up to calm and birdsong. The stables loft has high ceilings, wooden beams, and a wood stove, all original. We're an international family: Belgian, Kiwi, and well-travelled, and happy to help with local tips in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, or Portuguese. Travelling with a dog? Just let us know in advance - we have a very enthusiastic young dog of our own who loves meeting new friends.

Getting there

There are two gates at the property - please use the right one so you don't end up at a locked entrance. The wrought-iron gate right on the house facade (next to the yellow door, by the pedestrian crossing) is always CLOSED - please don't try to open it. Instead, continue a little further along the road (past the tree-lined section with the yellow bike lane markings) to the second gate, set into a low brick wall with its own 'La Bruyere du Coq' sign. That gate is always OPEN and leads onto the dirt driveway - that's your entrance.
